Pathway to degree study
The Certificate in English for Tertiary Studies programme will enable you to meet the English language entry requirements for either undergraduate or postgraduate study while developing your academic study skills and techniques.
Note that this certificate also has an English language entry requirement. Students below this level will be referred to our General English, English for Academic Purposes 1 or English for Academic Purposes 2 programmes until the language entrance requirement has been met.
If you plan to undertake degree study at the University, we advise you to apply for entry to the degree programme you wish to undertake before commencing English language study with us to make sure you meet the academic entry requirements.
