The General English course is delivered by CCEL (Christchurch College of English Limited) on the University campus. Please see: tuition fees for General English.
Non-tuition fees /
- International Student Compliance fee (NZ$100) - applies to international students undertaking Certificate in English for Teritary Studies.
- Student Services Levy (NZ$615) - the levy covers the cost of the Canterbury Card, Health levy and other administrative and support services.

- Tuition fees are subject to University review and may change.
- In the event of the course being cancelled, all remaining tuition fees will be refunded.
- The number of places available on each programme is limited. While every effort is made to give you the start date you want, if the programme becomes full before your payment is received, we reserve the right to defer your start date.
