First year students' academic orientation

 

This session is designed for students who are new to university and keen to get their bearings as soon as possible. You’ll learn how to decipher instructions for assignments and the basics of what counts as “academic” writing. There will also be an exploration of the key differences between school and university assessment, top tips from senior students, a look at how UC librarians can make your life easier, and a quick jaunt through some FAQs about student life.

When: 10.00 am-12.50 pm, Monday, 13 February 2023
