The Writing Process

This course introduces students to the academic writing process.

The first session teaches techniques to help students organise their ideas before they begin writing. Sessions 2 and 3 cover strategies for reviewing the structure of a draft and improving written style. The final session shows students how to identify errors and inconsistencies in their writing through a three-step proofreading process.

Note: The final session of The Writing Process covers the same content as the Proofreading Your Final Draft workshop.
