The Writing Process
This course introduces students to the academic writing process.
The first session teaches techniques to help students organise their ideas before they begin writing. Sessions 2 and 3 cover strategies for reviewing the structure of a draft and improving written style. The final session shows students how to identify errors and inconsistencies in their writing through a three-step proofreading process.
Note: The final session of The Writing Process covers the same content as the Proofreading Your Final Draft workshop.
